Working Teach-In

2016-10-01 All day
Sherwood Forest, United Kingdom
Address: Sherwood Forest, United Kingdom

This Teach-in is aimed at Club Members who are thinking or running theirs/thinking of getting dogs/are just about to start their first season. However, anyone who is interested can attend – even Old Timers who are happy to pass on their greater knowledge!
The morning programme is an informal session with in depth talks covering all aspects of the sport, including equipment, techniques, training tips and Club Rally Rules, etiquette and bib number system plus plenty of opportunities for questions. Unfortunately no dogs can be accommodated inside whilst the talks are going on. After the talks a short course will be marked out at the Clipstone Training Area – approx 5 miles away – and Members will be able to run their own dogs (two dogs, minimum age 9 months). Again this year dog loans will not be available unless independently arrange through people you know who are prepared to loan you a dog(s). However, we can supply rigs, lines, harnesses, etc. Please note you will only be allowed to run if you have attended the talks. The cost of the day is £10.00 per person, payable in advance with this booking form. There will also be a small parking charge to the Forestry on the day.
