    Trails: Standard Forestry Commission surfaces. We will be using the south side of the forest (training site, for those that know it) again this year.

    Directions: The event site lies 1 mile from the A614. From the A1 South, exit at Newark-on- Trent take A46 then A617 for Mansfield, turn right at roundabout A614 Doncaster, after 3 miles just after steel rail bridge turn left (opposite turn for Eakring). Site will be sign posted from here. From A1 North, exit at roundabout with A57 & A614, take A614 for 10 miles approx., turn right (opposite turn for Eakring). Site will be sign posted from here. From M1 North, exit at junction 29 take A617 for Mansfield, continue A617 through Mansfield towards Newark, turn left at roundabout A614 Doncaster, after 3 miles just after steel rail bridge turn left (opposite turn for Eakring). Site will be sign posted from here. From M1 South, exit at junction 28, take A38 for Mansfield, then A617 for Newark, follow underlined directions above.

    Trails: The trail is a designated cross-country ski course and is clearly defined. The Start lies just over the wooden bridge from the car park and runs parallel to the ski road for a short distance before entering the forest. The first part of the trail is quite demanding, but then runs along the lochside to the Finish without great problem. Note: Without snow, the trail can be tough on dogs’ feet and care should be taken at all times, even when training.

    PLEASE NOTE: Competitors may not enter more than one team per class or in subsequent classes, i.e. not A and B, B and C, C and C.2, E and E.2, E.2 and D or D and D.2. The .2 and .3 classes are not separate classes they just subdivisions of the class that is lettered.
