Please find below the details of the Siberian Husky Breed Appreciation Day (BAD).

The programme will follow the structure of the new Judges Education Programme (JEP) while remaining fully compliant with the current JEP requirements. Throughout the day, delegates will cover:

1. Judging for Health and Wellbeing

Including current Breed Watch requirements.

2. Breed Purpose and History

Providing a clear understanding of the breed’s original function and how this influences correct breed type.

3. Breed-Specific Conformation and Movement

An in-depth examination of the Breed Standard, including the key differences judges should recognise between younger and more mature dogs, ensuring delegates are fully prepared for the Multiple-Choice Examination (MCE).

4. Practical Breed-Specific Examination Techniques

Providing hands-on guidance in the correct physical examination of the breed and demonstrating the techniques expected when judging in the ring.
